Flanges Standard and Non Standard Sizes
We at Kisaan Die Tech specialize in manufacturing various types of Carbon steel, Alloy Steel and Stainless steel flanges. Though these can be forged as per the customer demanded material and outline (drawings), our standard range includes: – Flanges weld neck, socket weld, blind, slip on and reducing type to ANSI B 16.5 from 1/2 inch to 24 inches and classes 150 to 2500 – Flanges from 26 inches to 60 inches and classes 150 to 900 lbs (in accordance with B16.47 series A&B, MSS SP 44 standard) – Flanges long welding neck from class 150 to 1500 lbs and sizes from 1/2 inch to 24 inches – Flanges 26 inches to 48 inches and class 150 to 600 lbs to BS3293 – Flanges to API 605/ASME B16.47 – AWWA and light type – Spectacle Blind/figure 8 blank according to API 590/ASME B16.48 – Flanges to API 6A standard for well head equipment APPLICATIONS • Blind Flanges These are usually used to stop one end of the flanged pipe, a valve orifice or the opening of a pressure vessel. • Slip on Flanges Used in quick assembly to save the cost, these are also used in less strict requirements in terms of length of pipe section. • Socket Welding Flanges Recommended for orifice flanges. These work as substitute for slip-on-flanges in the cases where the diameter of the tube is very small and working pressure is very high. • Lap joint Flanges These are primarily used when quick assembly and disassembly of pipe line section is required under limited working pressure. • Threaded Flanges These flanges are used in special requirements to work under high temperature and pressure, making sure no welding joint is made at the assembly. • Weld Neck Flanges These are mainly used on heat coupling of pipes when there is possibility of expansion of the section while bending stress on the coupling.
